Thank you for sharing a place I love with me. You asked me to list three non fiction books I have particularly loved this year. They are:
    1. Notorious RBG by Irin Camrmon and Shana Knizhnik. The combination of love and awe these millenials feel for Ruth Bader Ginsburg plus the value of her life work to this country and the world is irresistible.
    2. Being Mortal by Atwul Gawande. Only read this if you want to make the most of your life.
    3. Political Emotions by Martha C. Nussbaum. We must harnass political emotions positively to ensure meaningful progress. One size does not fit all.
You are a wonderful example of a thinking, caring person. Be sure to extend the same love to yourself that you richly besow upon others. XOX

Harbor Springs is one of my favorite Michigan treasures. You have great weather this week. Enjoy your stay.

We love that area of Michigan. Friends have a home in Bay View and our group of 4 or 5 couples have been going up there since 1980. We have taken the Harbor Springs boat tour a few times and usually have one of our dinners or lunch there. does your family have a place up there, Paulette? Our love to you, Karen & Dick
